Review: Made With Love Designs Valentine's Cards & Discount Code

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and if you're like me and haven't even thought about it much yet then you better get your skates on. Valentine's Day doesn't have to always be about grand gestures and obscene bunches of flowers. Although those definitely are nice. Sometimes a beautiful thoughtful card is all it takes to show that special someone in your life that you love them.

This is where Made With Love Designs comes in. They are UK designers of luxury cards and also stock a wide range of gifts and home interior products on their website. I'm lucky enough to have been sent a couple of Valentine's Day cards for review. Please read on to see what I thought.

Here's a little bit about Made With Love Designs in their own words: "Made With Love is a leading design studio in the UK with a team of creatives. An online independent design & boutique (based now in workshop & design studio offices in Stalybridge, England) and it is the destination for personalised greetings cards, stationery and beautiful furniture pieces & gifts to celebrate life’s special occasions. Their stationery is not like anything you would find on the high street and they don't use materials often used by corporate publishing companies. For something a little bit different that's unique to you. Proud to be British, they are proud to support UK business, and use local suppliers wherever possible in their supplies & products."

I was sent 3 beautiful cards to review and I have to say I'm quite taken with all of them. The first one I'll start with is the 'I Love You To The Moon And Back' card. It's been loving designed and printed on to some really stunning thick pearlescent card. It comes individually wrapped in cello to protect it and has a cute recycled kraft brown envelope to go with it. You could of course go with the white card presentation box instead for something extra special but it does cost more. You can have it personalised with up to 3 lines of wording (35 characters per line) for an extra £2.00 as well, and have a personalised message inside for an extra £2.00. I like the design of this card as it can easily be given to a child. My son loves holiday events and any excuse for a celebration so I think I'll keep this card and give it to him for Valentine's Day. The card is 140x140mm and costs £3.50 without any extras or £6.00 with the presentation box.

The Made With Love Designs cards are printed using hot wax ink which is a little bit different and so is their next card. When I saw this one it definitely made me smile. It's basically a Valentine's Card with an edible Belgian chocolate heart shaped lollipop attached to it but the card has 2 instructions written on the front which state: unwrap me then devour me. All very tongue in cheek and quite clever. This is a card to give to your other half who likes a giggle. This card is 140x140mm and comes individually wrapped in cello with a bright red enveloped costing £7.50, that's without any extras. To personalise the text or have a message written instead costs £2.00 each and if you want a presentation box instead of an envelope then the card will cost £10.00.
Last but not least we have this gorgeous 'i love you to bits' card which is just as stunning as the other 2 and excellent quality. I should note that all 3 of the cards I have received are printed on luxury 300gsm card with and matching paper insert. Each card is individually handmade to your order in the UK too which is lovely to see. The bits and pieces Valentine's Card has a geometric blush & grey print and instead of 'i love you to bits' Made With Love Designs can print your verse on the front so you have something different. This card is also 140x140mm and comes with a recycled kraft brown envelope sealed in cello. Or go for the presentation box option for that extra special something. The card on it's own costs £3.50 and with the box costs £6.00. As before to change the wording on the front or put wording instead it'll cost you an extra £2.00 each.

If you would like one of these cards for your other half then I'd highly recommend them, they're beautiful and what's even better is that I have a 30% off discount code for you!! Just enter: BREASTESTNEWS at the checkout when you're ready to purchase. Code expires Friday 12th February 2016.

Overall Made With Love Designs stock some really lovely and unique cards so if you're looking for something different then this is the place to go.

I was sent 3 cards in return for an honest review.
