Well it's not long past Mother's Day and now Easter is fast approaching! There always seems to be something to spend your money on these days… Anyway if you're looking for something a bit different as an Easter Gift this year, check out my suggestions below. I'm sure there's something that's tickle your fancy.

Kids Painting Set
What better way to keeps the kids happy on Easter morning than with this great little Easter painting set from Poundworld. It's cheap and cheerful and comes with a pallet of paints, a brush and some Easter themed pictures to colour in. Brilliant if it happens to be raining that day or you can use it in the run up to Easter for the kids to get excited for rolling their eggs down the hill!

Personalised Kids Books
Chocolates are great but there's nothing better than staring in your very own story! The kids will love these personalised books from Penwizard. There's lots of different themes to choose from including; Peppa Pig, Roary the Racing Car, Princess book, Football book, Fifi and the Flower Tots and much more

Easter Fancy Dress
Kids love to dress up and what better way to show their appreciation for Easter than by donning one of these cute Easter costume from Kiddy Mania. There's lots to choose from including; an Easter bunny, cockerel, sheep, donkey and even an elephant if you want to be different!

Wool Felted Eggs
These eggs are perfect for any Easter egg hunt around the garden and will last a lot longer than chocolate since they're made from wool which has been felted together using the wet felting technique. Another good use for these is a beautiful centre piece on your table for Easter lunch. Place them in a bowl and these colourful eggs will brighten up your table a treat.

'Free From' Easter Eggs
We do all love a chocolate egg but what about the kids and adults who can't have dairy, wheat, egg and gluten? Well Holland & Barrett have brought out a great range of Easter eggs that have none of these ingredients in them! Now we don't want to forget the mummies and pregnant ladies at Easter time so why not treat them to a little gift from Palmer's. They have a brilliant Cocoa Body Butter (RRP £4.99) which is ideal for softening and smoothing whereas their Skin Therapy Oil (RRP £9.99) is great for a bit of pampering. Review: Earth Friendly Baby

The very kind people from Earth Friendly Baby sent Logan some of their lovely products to review. We received their Organic Sunflower Massage Oil, Organic Lavender Bubble Bath and their Eco Baby Wipes. Here is what we thought.

Now Logan is 2 years old and is quite a bit beyond the baby massage stage but since he has dry skin I often rub some sort of cream or oil into him after he's had a bath to stop him from going crispy! He really likes being pampered so this is where the Organic Sunflower Massage Oil comes in handy. It has a little flip top lid which you can easily use with oily fingers and there's no need to panic that your child will kick it over and the oil will go every where as the lid is just as easy to close again.

Earth Friendly Baby say: "This Organic Massage Oil can be used on babies from the age of 3 months and not forgetting mums and dads too! The blend contains over 70% certified organic ingredients. This nourishing massage oil contains a base of Sunflower Oil, blended with the amazing mild and healing Kukui Oil from Hawaii that is traditionally used on newborn babies and can also soothe skin that has been over exposed to the sun. Calendula and Chamomile Oils in this clever oil along with Vitamin E will help to heal the most sensitive skin. And for that touch of luxury a hint of the highest quality Rose has been added to soothe the senses."

I really liked this massage oil for Logan, it wasn't too greasy and massaged into the skin really well leaving it soft and smooth. I didn't use it every day but I'm sure you could if you wanted too as babies do love a little massage and it helps you to bond with your little one. RRP for this product is £7.14 for 100ml and you can purchase it from John Lewis, Amazon or visit www.earthfriendlybaby.co.uk.

The Organic Lavender Bubble Bath was great, it created tons of bubbles and a little definitely goes a long way with this stuff. It's more like water than the normal gloopy bubble bath you get and to start with I thought I would need lots to get some good bubbles but boy was I mistaken. There were so many bubbles I couldn't find Logan at one stage (slight exaggeration but you get my point) so next time I was very careful only to add a little. The smell of the lavender is beautiful, very subtle but that's all you want in a children's bubble bath anything too overpowering and it just puts me off purchasing again.

This bubble bath was great for Logan's skin which left it nice and soft. I tend to find most bubble baths dry out Logan's skin (apart from specialist baby ones) but this one was lovely. You get 370ml for RRP £6.12 and you can purchase if from John Lewis, Amazon or visit www.earthfriendlybaby.co.uk.

Last but not least are the Eco Baby Wipes. Earth Friendly Baby say: "These 100% biodegradable eco baby wipes were created to help the environment as well as baby’s delicate skin. These gentle, eco baby wipes are made from material derived from wood pulp and starch making them kinder to the environment. Blended with organic Chamomile and Calendula to soothe and calm baby’s most delicate areas they’ll leave baby’s skin smooth, soft and delicately cleansed."

These Eco Wipes are brilliant. They're so soft, quite big and thick so you only need a few to change a babies dirty nappy unlike the loads I seem to use with some other brands. They don't stick together in the packet either and are easy to remove which is handy when you've got a screaming kicking toddler who'd rather play with his choo choo train than have his nappy changed! When Logan had bad nappy rash the Eco Wipes didn't seem to hurt his bottom either. I find some wipes quite stingy because of the alcohol in them but because these wipes have been blended with organic chamomile and calendula they help to soothe babies bum. You get 72 wipes in a pack for only RRP £3.05 which is fab and you can purchase them from John Lewis, Amazon or visit www.earthfriendlybaby.co.uk.

Overall I like everyone of these products although I think the Eco Wipes have to be my favourite. The Eco Wipes are fairly priced in my opinion especially for what you get but I think the massage oil and the bubble bath are a bit on the expensive side. I would happily purchase these products to use on my son in future though and I would recommend to friends and family.

Mummies rating - 7/10
Logan's rating - 10/10

Review: ThermaCare HeatWraps

Nowadays back pain is very common, everyone you speak to has some kind of sore back. It's probably due to our poor posture, weight or some kind of damage we've done from lifting a heavy box the wrong way (I think we're all a bit guilty of that!). Just before I became pregnant I was unlucky enough to be invloved in a head on car accident, I have no idea what the other driver was doing but they obviously weren't paying attention and the result wasn't great for my back and ever since then I've had back pain.

I hate taking pain killers, I don't want to feel like I have to depend on them so I wish I'd known about these ThermaCare HeatWraps sooner. ThermaCare were kind enough to send me a pack of their Lower Back & Hip HeatWraps to review for them and I really do think they're great. They would have been perfect to use when I was breastfeeding my son after he was born too, I didn't want to take painkillers then as I didn't want to pass anything on through my milk to my baby.

ThermaCare say: "patented heat cell technology gives deep penetrative therapeutic relief, that is as effective as taking the maximum over-the-counter dose of ibuprofen tablets.  It uses heat generating ingredients of iron, charcoal, salt and water that react on contact with oxygen to produce heat, helping to relax tight muscles and improve flexibility to help you move more freely – whatever your day requires of you."
These HeatWraps can give you up to 8 hours of heat, to use you simply have to take the belt out of it's pouch, place the dark side of the discs on the belt towards your skin and fasten the belt. As easy as that. The belt is very stretchy and is sized from a small to extra large so you can imagine it can fit quite a wide range of shapes. I'm around a size 12-14 and it fits me fine when plenty of extra room if I need to go bigger.

So what did I think? Well these HeatWraps actually work! The heat penetrates into the back muscles to help soothe and relax them and after only wearing for 30 minutes I could feel the pain disapearing which felt fantastic. When I get a sore back it can ruin my day making me feel sick as well as a lot of discomfort but now I can use these I don't have to worry so much anymore. The HeatWraps are easy to wear under clothing, you would never even notice you had it on and because it can be worn for 8 hours that's  a whole days work so if you have an office job like me and your back gets sore from the way you sit at your desk then these are perfect for you.

If you're also a mum then you'll appreciate these too if you suffer from back pain. ThermaCare say: "almost half (48%) of mums who suffer aches and pains say lifting up their kids causes the most strain. This is not surprising after a new survey revealed one in five mums carry their kids around for four or more hours a day when they are young – this equates to a full two months spent carrying their child over a year! One in 20 (5%) of the women, who were part of a survey of 3,000 men and women carried out by ThermaCare® HeatWraps, say their muscular or joint pain was initially caused as a direct result of pregnancy while 7% say lifting their child was the initial trigger. The survey further revealed the impact muscular aches and pains have on everyday parenting activities with 22% finding the constant tidying up after their kids a strain, whilst 18% find bath time a back ache, and just over one in 10 (12%) say play time and pushing a pram leaves them aching. More than one in ten (11.99%) parents say muscular or joint pain interrupts their time with their children on a daily basis, while one in five says it is a nuisance a few times a week."

So if like me you don't want to be taking painkillers left right and centre then you need to get yourself some of these ThermaCare HeatWraps. You get 2 belts in a pack with an RRP of £6.12 and they can be bought from all good supermarkets and pharmacies.

Overall I love these HeatWraps, they have done wonders for my back pain without having to take medication and I would highly recommend them to mums and dads who suffer any sort of back pain. The price is obviously more expensive than taking painkillers however you're not putting anything into your body which definitely appealed to me as a breastfeeding mum.

Mummies rating - 10/10

Guest Post - Hoarders beware: The times they are-a-changin'

As if chasing after the little ones doesn’t keep you young, now you’ve got to stay current with all of the trends in technology. If you haven’t tapped into the world of digital storage yet, you’re missing out on a prime opportunity to clear your home of clutter. Want to know how you can simplify your life while making money from activities such as selling DVDs for cash? Keep reading.

One of the best ways to get rid of clutter is to learn to embrace the digital age. From music to important documents, you can now store everything on a cloud drive, skipping the need to skim through messy file cabinets or search through all of those jewel cases for your favourite CD.

Before you can toss everything, though, you have to get digitally organised. This means that you should scan all of your important documents and convert them into portable document format, or PDFs. If you store them in your email account or a cloud drive, you can access them from any computer with your password and username, meaning that you’ll never have to worry about them getting destroyed. In addition, using PDFs allows you to clear up office space both at work and at home, making for a clearer, clutter-free environment, which is something that mothers everywhere can appreciate.

When it comes to getting with the times, going digital isn’t just for work. One of the most useful--and profitable--things you can do for this year’s spring clean is clear out all of your old CDs. Whether you think you’ve outgrown your Cranberries collection, or you just want a little more breathing room around the house, selling your CDs is a good way to get a fresh start.

Before you start to clear out your entertainment centre, however, start by converting all of your music and movies to a digital format. Ripping your CDs to a personal computer is a fairly easy process, and most PCs even have built-in software that can help you. Transferring your favourite movies may be a bit more involved, but researching free software like DVD Shrink or Handbrake can help you get started.

Once you have all of your music and movies in digital file formats, you’ll want to move them to a cloud drive so that you don’t take up all of the memory on your computer. This will allow you to access them whenever you want from several types of devices. Then, you are ready to sell!

You could pack up all of your CDs, DVDs, and video games and take them to the nearest second-hand entertainment store, but who has time for that? If you’re a busy mum who barely has time to plan the next family meal, luckily there are online outlets that do most of the work for you.

One of the most popular way to sell used discs is to post them on an user-generated site such Gumtree or Amazon. This way of selling has several advantages, including the ability to set your own prices, but it also has its drawbacks. You’ll be responsible for monitoring the item’s progress throughout your posting and taking the discs to the post office to ship them once you’ve sold them.

However, if you want to make money without all the fuss, there’s an easier way to sell your CDs. A buy back service like musicMagpie makes the process simple and convenient by allowing users to upload information about each disc that they want to sell and then arrange for postage. You’ll get a cheque for all of your used CDs without ever having to leave home.

Review: Ella's Kitchen Munchy Biccies

I quite like the fact that Ella's Kitchen are taking the time to bring out new and exciting products in their toddler range. Logan is a massive fan of snacks and would happily eat them all day instead of a proper meal (like most kids really) but I always like to buy him healthy snacks to make sure he's not rotting his little teeth or making himself obese! So when Ella's Kitchen asked us to review their new Munchy Biccies we were delighted. Logan was sent a packet of their Cinnamon + Oranges flavour to try.

First impressions are good as always. The packaging is bold and bright and the colour is in keeping with the flavour of the product i.e. the packet we received was bright orange to co-inside with the cinnamon and oranges flavour. These munchy biccies come in 3 flavours and the other two available are Cheese + Apples and Bananas. I quite like the sound of the cheese and apples myself to be honest, sounds like a good combo.
The cinnamon and oranges flavoured biccies we received were tasty but Logan found them to be quite strong. Cinnamon is a strong taste anyway and so is orange and I don't think Logan is too keen on it to be honest. He did eat one of the biccies but refused to take anymore after that. It could possibly be an acquired taste and one that he eventually comes round too. I do think he would have liked the Bananas flavoured biccies though as he's a massive fan of bananas in general. I tried the biccies myself just for testing purposes! And I found them to be a bit sickly. If you like a chocolate orange type flavour then you'll love these. I'm not a fan myself so no surprise I found them a little overpowering.

These snacks have 100% organic ingredients with no concentrates or refined sugars which will help keep your child fuller for longer and give them some good energy for their busy day of running around and making a mess! They are suitable for children from 12 months + and since they come in small bags they're handy to keep in your handbag when out and about incase your toddler requires a quick bite.

You get 5 small packets in each big bag of munchy biccies and they can be purchased from Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda for RRP £ 1.79.

Overall lovely little biccies but the cinnamon and oranges flavour was too strong for us which is a shame as we didn't get to try the other 2 flavours so can't really comment much on them to compare flavour. I think the pricing is ok and falls into line with the other up market toddler products in the supermarkets at the moment.

Mummies rating - 6/10
Logan's rating - 4/10

Review: Skeanie Loafers

Logan's feet have been growing at some rate lately so when Skeanie offered us a pair of their cute mini loafers to test and review I jumped at the chance. I always like finding different clothes and shoes for Logan to wear and boys attire seems to be less exciting than girls so it was good to see an unusual pair of shoes on the market for a change.

A quick bit about Skeanie: "Starting out in Australia, the Skeanie brand - loved by little feet around the world – has come to Europe. Its eco-approach only uses offcuts of leather to create stylish shoes that nurture and protect children’s feet. Skeanie was founded by mum of two Natasha Barber. She commenced her soft soled shoe research shortly after her Cheeky Monkey, Hamish was born. Finding high quality soft leather shoes was a challenge. After 2 years of research and design and the birth of her Little Princess, Bella, she launched Skeanie shoes for kids. Since then Skeanie has won much acclaim from mums, podiatrists and paediatricians and is the preferred provider of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW). Podiatrists and paediatricians around the world have united to recommend Skeanie’s beautiful soft soled shoes for your baby, toddler and young child."

The mini loafers that Logan received are very smart and excellent for wearing casually to playgroup/ nursery or even out to a formal event such as a wedding or christening so brilliantly versatile. Your child will definitely get plenty of wear out of them. When they arrived I couldn't wait to try them on my son and he took an instance interest himself because of the little metal detail which has been stitched onto the front of the shoe. I was surprised to find that when you pull back the collar of the shoe it has elastic stitched into it which I later discovered was Skeanie's fantastic Flex-ease design. This is perfect for little feet as it helps you to slip the shoes on quickly and comfortably and when worn it keeps them in place so your child can walk easily without the shoes slipping off.

These shoes are very soft and very flexible, I can only imagine they might feel like slippers as they look so comfortable. Lots and lots of mums have commented on them, the way they look, the way they feel, the unusual Flex-ease design and ofcourse how comfortable Logan looks in them when he's running around. They've definitely been causing a stir. No wonder though, the stitching on these shoes is just lovely and they have been well put together. I scrutinised them for flaws such as loose threading, sole coming away from the leather etc and there's nothing to be found. Skeanie really have done an excellent job. I also like the fact that the sole of the shoes is extra grippy with little nodules to help keep your little one from slipping.

You can purchase these Loafers from Size 22 to 28 and Skeanie provide a handy sizing guide on their website which is pretty easy to use. These mini loafers cost RRP £34.99 and can be purchased directly from www.skeanie.co.uk.

Overall fabulous shoes and ones which I cannot fault. They are pricey however all good children's shoes are and you'll get a ton of wear out of these so they're definitely worth investing in. You want the best for your child's feet as they're still growing and need the right support and these shoes really fit the bill. My son also likes them which is a big plus, he's happy to wear them and won't take them off which he does with other shoes so that's all the approval I need.

Review: zChocolat

Around Valentine's Day the lovely people from zChocolat sent me a box of their finest Touché chocolates to review for them and I have to say what a delight of a box it was. I'm not a massive fan of chocolates, normally I prefer a savoury snack, however these chocolates were just to tempting to turn down.

zChocolate.com is an online company that provides an exclusive selection of French chocolates handmade by the French chocolatier Pascal Caffet. These chocolates truly are something special and when they arrived I was rather impressed. They arrived tucked away in a beautifully presented drawstring bag which had a little pouch on the front and inside was a note to tell me why I was being sent my chocolates and also some information on zChocolat to perouse. On the strings of the bag was a cute wooden heart which slipped down the string to help keep the bag closed. When I opened the bag I was delighted to see how much care had been taken to present these yummy chocolates. They were incased in a french hand crafted finger-joint carved wooden box which has a lovely heart inlay and also if you wish you can add an engraving to the box on a brass plate to make it truly personal.

Inside, 12 chocolates were neatly packed into a little paper box to keep them safe. I was surprised that the chocolates were actually a decent size. I was expecting them to be quite small but thankfully they weren't. I like the way they were arranged inside the box, carefully colour co-ordinated and placed in all different directions to create a feast for the eyes!

These chocolates were a delight to eat and there was a great mix of flavours to try which include; milk chocolate supreme with hazelnut praline, black mystique vanilla bourbon caramel, white toquade filled with chocolate ganache and red amore ganache scented with bergamont. Quite a mouthful to say but soooo tasty. It was easy to tell these chocolates were hand made, they melted in your mouth and were very textured compared to cheaper chocolate brands. They're very rich too so you could only eat 1 or 2 at a time which is nice as far too many people stuff their face with chocolate and don't actually stop to appreciate it.

I quite like the fact that these chocolates are kept very pure with no alcohol or preservatives and with very little sugar. They also include all-natural ingredients and have 100% pure cocoa butter. You can purchase these chocolates direct from www.zChocolate.com for RRP £73.46.

Overall these chocolates are extremely special and would make an excellent gift for Mother's Day or even as a little Wedding present for the couple who already live together and have everything. The only thing putting me off these chocolates is the price tag. Although they are tasty and beautifully presented would someone really know you spent almost £75 on them?? Definitely not where I come from anyway and my rating below reflects this.

Netflights.com Giveaway

One of the biggest things that completely petrifies me about travelling abroad with a toddler is the fear of losing them! Now, I'm quite a responsible person but you've all heard the stories of how parents have literally turned their head for a second and their child has gone!! It's even worse if you're in a different country and what if your child isn't great at talking yet or can't explain themselves well?  Yes I know, all very frightening but with the help of a simple ID Bracelet it could very well mean the difference between your child finding there way back to you or not.

My son is 2 years old and he's still not great at speaking so I know for a fact that an ID Bracelet would be a fantastic idea to help incase he did wonder away from me in a busy place and lets not forget not just in a different country but in your home country too.

Good things to include on an ID Bracelet are your childs name, contact number, if abroad include your hotel details, room number etc. These will all help reunite you with your child in the event that they happen to wonder off.

You'll be pleased to know then that the very generous people from Netflights.com are giving away 500 resuable ID Bracelets on their Facbook page. Simply pop over to see details on how to enter.

Review: Born Free Twist 'n Pop Cup

My fiancé and I are currently trying to teach Logan how to drink from a proper cup but he takes great joy in pouring water all down his top which is fine for now as he's still young but fingers crossed he picks up the skill soon! In the meantime Logan has been lucky enough to receive a Twist 'n Pop Cup from Baby Born Free to test out and review for them.

The twist 'n pop cup is a 14fl oz toddler cup which has a twist straw lid. So basically to open the cup and drink from the straw all you do is twist the lid and you do the same to close it again. The pop-up straw is made from soft silicone so it easily maintains it's shape and doesn't break when it's twisted closed. The twist straw mechanism is designed to keep the straw clean and also help reduce spills. And the cup itself has an ergonomic design which little hands find easy to hold plus the bit to hold in the middle has extra little nodules which help with grip.

Logan has never been too great at drinking from straw cups as he tends to tip the cup up not realising to get a drink he has to keep the cup down but we helped him with this and so he found this cup quite easy to use although because it's just a free flowing straw he would often gulp too much water and begin to cough. Maybe that's because he was a breastfed baby and to get a drink he needed a good strong suck, I'm not sure he's realised he doesn't have to work so hard for a drink now!

I found this cup really easy to take apart and clean, all I had to do was put it in the top rack of the dishwasher but it can be easily hand washed so don't panic if you haven't got a dishwasher at home. It also comes in 4 different colours; pink, blue, yellow and green so you can pick your toddlers favourite. Logan received a green cup to test and it's a quite nice pale green. The Born Free range of products can be purchased from John Lewis, Boots, Amazon, Mothercare, JoJo Maman Bebe and Babies R Us so plenty of stores and I'm sure one will be near you.

One of the issues I found with this cup is the free flowing straw, although it has a twist mechanism to help stop spills I found that if the cup wasn't kept up right it would leak quite a lot and a lot of Logan's things in his bag would get wet which is not something you really want. We did try it several times incase we where doing something wrong but each time the cup leaked so not great which is a shame really.

When Logan isn't drinking from this cup he does like to sit and play with the straw, it must fascinate him as he loves to turn the top back and forward to see the straw pop up! Very sweet to watch. It's also helping him to explore in a way and also see what results his actions have on the cup.

Overall a nice cup in all aspects apart from the leakage when the cup isn't up right. It's a real shame but it makes you want to stop using the cup unless you're in the house otherwise all your toddlers things will get wet in their bag!

Mumpreneur: Keira O'Mara

Keira O'Mara is the genius inventor behind the fab Mamascarf. A scarf designed to shield yourself and baby whilst breastfeeding in public or just generally out and about. Keira has recently been awarded the Alumni of the Year Award from Birmingham City University and she's going to tell us all about her brilliant product. Please take a minute to check out her website too: www.mamascarf.co.uk.

So first things first, tell me a little bit about yourself and your family?
I am 34, a mum of two (Sam nearly 5 and Lily nearly 2) and live in Birmingham with my husband Dan. I run Mama Designs Ltd from home around the family.

What's the story behind the genius Mamascarf?
I came up with the idea for Mamascarf following my own experiences of breastfeeding my baby as I was quite self conscious and always trying to cover up whilst breastfeeding but nothing was effective; blankets overheated him, scarves and muslins blocked my view of him and could fall or be pulled off.  When I looked for a product that provided both discretion and support for breastfeeding and couldnt find one, I thought about doing it myself and Mamascarf was born!

Where there any struggles along the way?
There have been lots of struggles. I had no experience, a small budget and it has been a steep learning curve. I have been the victim of Intellectual Property theft with one company even illegally using my name. I have learnt a lot along the way!

Looking back is there anything you wish you could have done differently?
I would have launched Mamascarf at a trade show. I have seen other brands do this and I think that it is a great way to start big whereas I took a while to build up.

Are there any other brilliant inventions in the pipeline?
I am just about to launch Babasac a 2-in-1 multi tog baby sleeping bag with removable inner panels, so that it can be used all year round.  I came up with the idea after having to buy yet another sleeping bag to take on holiday for my baby girl.  I also have other ideas that I am developing.

A lot of mums would love to work for themselves or design their own baby product, what advice can you give them?
Setting up a business and launching a new product can be a extremely hard work but it is also very rewarding. You get to see your business grow and can have a great work life balance. I would recommend starting your business while still being employed, as this way you will still have a regular salary and aren't risking as much. It's hard work as in the beginning you will be doing two jobs, but longer term it is a sensible way to do it. It might be scary but it is the best thing that you will ever do!

Review: I Love... Juiced Up Blackcurrant

You've got to love a gorgeous fruity bath and shower gel so when the happy bunch from I Love…Cosmetics got in touch to ask if I would like to test out their new I Love… Juiced Up Blackcurrant I couldn't say no. All their products look so vibrant and delicious so I was really looking forward to trying this one.

A quick bite from the I Love.. Team: "Flash, bang, wallop! I Love...burst onto the scene in 2008. We are all named after truly delicious; mouth-watering, passionate, almost unadulterated scents that will generate a pure feel good factor and a sense of pure happiness! Don’t be shy, try me out. You never know; you might just enjoy yourself!" With a statement like that I could wait to get in the shower and try out the new blackcurrant flavour for myself!

The smells this product has is just amazing, it's just like blackcurrant juice and it really wakes you up in the morning which is fab especially if like me you're crawling out of bed at 5.30am and you need a good kick to get you going. The colour is very striking too, a deep purple with a shimmer through it although this doesn’t transfer onto your skin. It’s just the way it looks in the bottle.

I've been using this as a shower gel for a few weeks now and I quite like it. It doesn't lather up like other shower gels in your hand so best to use a sponge but then again you only need a small amount which goes a long way. The scent doesn't last on your skin though like some products which was disappointing as I quite like to smell fruity! The bottle is massive, you get 500ml for £2.05 and this will last you ages. My other half has been using it as well and he does like to use a lot of shower gel but both of us together have hardly made a dent in this stuff. Good as it'll save some pennies which can go towards other things.

I do like the design of the bottle, it's simple, sleek and clear so you can see the product through it plus every bottle seems to have it's own little story which all adds to it's brilliance: "Take a whopping big bite out of life! My delicious aroma is bursting with super juicy blackcurrants all ready to explode into action, leaving you with your very own bite size portion of happiness!". There are loads of other different flavours in the range too from Strawberries & Milkshake, Mango & Papaya to Tropical Paradise. I bet they all smell just as amazing as the Juiced Up Blackcurrant.

You can purchase these products from Superdrug stores or from www.superdrug.com. Morrisons also stock the I Love… products so if you have one near you pop in and take a nosey.

Overall a fantastic product, smells brilliant and is easy on the purse strings for the massive amount you get. It's a shame the scent doesn't last on your skin but for the price what do you expect? It's good that these products aren't just dedicated to girls though, well I think so anyway. They have such a massive range of flavours I'm sure even men will love them!

Mummies rating - 8/10
Other Half's rating - 7/10

It's only just gone Valentine's Day and now Mother's Day is slowly creeping up on us! For those not yet aware Mother's Day is on Sunday 18th March this year and it's only polite to show your mother a little bit of appreciation on the special day that is dedicated to her. Your gift doesn't have to be expensive or maybe you would prefer to lavish your mum with luxury goodies whatever you plan to do here is a selection of lovely gifts to give you some ideas:

Romantic Classic - Jane Eyre
Released on 12th March 2012 (RRP £9.99) this romantic classic is sure to be a great gift for your mum on Mother's Day. Now this is definitely something a bit different for Mother's Day but also quite unique. The Yantra Mat is a foam mat covered in spiked “flowers” with 8,820 contact points designed to stimulate special ‘acupoints’ on the body through acupressure. The user is advised to lay down on the mat for around twenty minutes a day and in a response to the pressure the body’s natural ‘painkilling’ hormones ‘endorphins’ and ‘oxytocin’ are released, which both promote relaxation and reduce stress levels. Applying pressure to various points on the body increases blood circulation to enable the body to achieve a deeper state of relaxation! My mum would love this sort of thing, she's got bad circulation so this would be perfect. Please note pregnant women cannot use this item. Review: Fabric Flavours Smurfs T-shirt

You might have seen my previous review for the lovely Fabric Flavours on their cute and stylish Very Hungry Caterpillar t-shirt? Well Logan has been lucky enough to receive one of Fabric Flavours very cool Smurf t-shirts to review for them.

It's a fantastic little t-shirt for boys and arrived beautifully presented just as the last t-shirt did. This smurfs t-shirt is wrapped with a smurf design soft tissue paper which gives that extra loving touch and the tags on the t-shirt are just as brilliant as the garment itself! The tags are always tied round the label on the neck of the t-shirt by brightly coloured wool and is never punched through the garment. I remember purchasing a gorgeous t-shirt from a high street store in their sale but because of the way they had punched the sales ticket into the t-shirt it left a massive gaping hole which as you can imagine I wasn't impressed with. Needless to say I had to take it back to the store and since there were none left in the size I needed for my son I was left extremely disappointed. However no need to fear this problem with the Fabric Flavour t-shirts, they're always taken care of.

The Smurf t-shirt depicts a boy Smurf on his bike doing a wheelie with the slogan 'This Is How I Roll' which is rather cute and quite funny for Logan as he's developing his little terrible 2's attitude at the moment. Very appropriate for him. The t-shirt has been garment dyed to create a retro feel and it looks great. It's a sort of dark mossy green with a few different green tones through it.

This t-shirt is extra soft so perfect against your child's delicate skin and comes in three sizes; 1 to 2 years (29cm), 3 to 4 years (31cm) and 5 to 6 years (32cm). All measurements are taken flat across the chest. Logan has the 3 to 4 years t-shirt and it's perfect with a bit of extra room for growth. Lots of people have commented on how cute and unique it is and always ask where I bought it from. I love to buy clothes for Logan with logo's and captions so Fabric Flavours is right up my street.

I've checked the stitching on this t-shirt with a fine tooth comb and I'm pleased to say that it is all neat and tidy. One of the most annoying things on an item of clothing is when the stitching looks half finished and is popping out all over the place so I was happy to find this t-shirt had been well produced. You can purchase this t-shirt from www.fabricflavours.com for RRP £16.00

Overall this t-shirt is gorgeous, very soft with a brilliant little logo and caption for little boys. As you can see it's a bit on the expensive side but if you've got the budget for these t-shirts then I'd highly recommend you purchase a few. They're beautiful!

Mummies rating - 8/10
