Fiona Wood is the woman behind this cool kids brand which she founded in 2010. I'll let her tell you how she got to where she is now: "My big break came when mums from all over the UK voted for Naturally Cool Kids to win the Barclays Take One Small Step new business idea competition - a national campaign which aims to find people with outstanding business ideas and help to get them started. As a result, I’ve developed six products which only contain lovely, natural and soothing ingredients...and not a chemical in sight!"
Having never heard of Naturally Cool Kids before I was quite intrigued to see what their products would be like and gladly accepted their offer of products to test. I'm so glad I did as these products really are fab! The lip + cheek protector is excellent and has a multitude of uses. From moisturising little chapped lips and cheeks to creating a brilliant runny-nose barrier to help prevent that bit between the lips and nose from becoming sore from lots of wiping. It's also excellent to rub on little cheeks when teething as they often become sore and dry. I also think the lip + cheek protector is great for mums! I've been using it on Logan as well as on my own lips when out and about and it's great. My lips have never been so soft. It's not sticky either so instantly makes your lips feel soft and moisturised. It's perfect for all year round as well as your child's lips can become dry in summer or winter. Logan loves it not only because it soothes his skin but also because of the shape of the tube. It's a handy oval shape which is easy for toddlers to hold. You just pop off the lid and away you go. When you've used quite a bit all you have to do is roll it up like a lip balm. It's ingenious.
The lip + cheek protector has all natural ingredients, no nasty at all: Helianthus annuus seed oil*, Butyrospermum parkii butter, Cera alba wax, Simmondsia sinensis (fruit) oil, Calendula officinalis flower extract, Arnica Montana flower extract. *Organic ingredient. This stuff really will last for a good while. We've been testing it out for a good few months now and there's still tons left.

As for the Vapour Stick it's just as fab. The people at Naturally Cool Kids describe it soooo well I just had to let them tell you about it: "An all-natural, children’s vapour rub in an easy glide-on stick, containing natural butters and essential oils that gently help to clear a stuffy nose and ease breathing by rubbing on to your chest and back, melting at body temperature."
Unlike other vapour rub products on the market for kids these days, this one from Naturally Cool Kids is completey petroleum free - hurray! Instead they use natural butters and essential oils which help to moisturise the skin and this combined with the vapour makes an excellent product to help clear stuffy little noses.
What I absolutely love about this product is that it is so simple why haven't other people done it before! It's so easy to use just pop off the lid and apply in one full proof swipe. No mess, no fuss, no screaming baby as it's just so quick. I would highly recommend you purchase this in time for the cold arriving as it's fantastic and your baby will appreciate it.

Last but not least the Bug Bands. These little beauties are perfect for the summer months when the midges come out and since I live in Scotland, yes midgey central, they really have came into their own. Since the winter is now closing in we don't have to use them much but if you are planning a trip abroad with your little one then definitely purchase these. You get 2 in a pack and they offer up to 100 hours of protection from biting insects. You'll be pleased to know they are deet-free and can even be worn whilst swimming so no need to take them off at all.

Overall amazing products. The Lip + Cheek Protector has to be my favourite as it can be used for so many different things. All of these products did what they said and there was no dissapointments. Reallt would recommend to all plus you should check out their online store to see their other fab products. Pricing is a little on the expensive side but the amount of use you get out of these far out ways this. Plus they are all natural so no nasties on your child's skin and this is well worth paying for especially if your child has sensitive skin like my son Logan.
