Review: MunchCup Snacks by Benjoy

The lovely people at Benjoy have asked Logan and I to test out their MunchCup Snacks. They sent us the Multigrain Bites and Crunchy Grape Slices. Here is what we thought of them.

Multigrain Bites
The little cups these snacks come in are the perfect size for little hands. The multigrain bites are tomato and carrot flavour and all with 100% natural ingredients. The ingredients include; rice, quinoa, oats, wheat, tomato and carrot juices. Suitable from 1 year+ as they are quite small and would need some teeth to crunch them. You get 4 yummy munchcups in one packet and these are very handy for taking out and about with you. Logan quite liked the taste of these but when I tasted them I thought they could have done with a little more flavour.

Crunchy Grape Slices
Logan has always refused to eat grapes so I thought this would be a good alternative to get him interested in the fruit. The ingredients that are in these cups are only 100% grape! Yes that's right, 100% grape! Fantastic, no little nasties in there at all. The grapes have been freeze-dried which is a gentle process that removes the water from the grapes without destroying nutrients and creates a lovely crunchy texture. These are also one of your 5 a day and must have been very tasty as Logan took to them really well. He held the cup and picked out the pieces one by one.

One unique selling point with these MunchCups is that they have an anti-spill cover over the top so that your child can put their hand in and get the snack but the pieces won't fall out if the tub is tipped upside down. Well Logan has this anti-spill system sussed already. He turns the cups upside down and puts his hand in but leaves enough room to let the snacks fall out! I did however test the anti-spill myself and I could not get the snacks to fall out so it definitely does work. Logan has just discovered how to make the snacks fall out, he likes to make a mess!

The recommend retail price for this product is from £2.49 to £2.69 and can be purchased from Morrisons, Ocado, Waitrose and many more.

Overall these are great little healthy tasty snacks and a good price for a pack of 4 as you get a lot of snack in each cup.

Logan's rating - 7.5/10
Mummies rating - 7/10
