Pregnancy: 17 Weeks

I've reached the grand milestone of 17 weeks and the public bump touching has started already! At first I was a bit shocked and taken aback, not like me I know, and I didn't really know what to do. It's not just people I know trying to touch the bump either, I've had a random friend of a friend reach out their hand to stroke my growing tummy. I just sort of stared at them in disbelief, very awkward.

Any how everything else has been going nicely so far. The sicky feeling has subsided and I haven't been sick for a couple of weeks now so things are starting to look up. I haven't had any cravings but then I didn't really have any with Logan either. Although I do seem to have taken a partial liking to tuna and I'm not supposed to eat it more than twice a week due to it's mercury contents which can harm the development of the baby so tough luck there for me. No eating buckets full of tuna.

I've been feeling the baby move a lot over the past few days which is nice, little knocks and prods here and there. Nothing which the other half or Logan can feel yet but it'll be great when I can finally get them to feel the baby moving away inside my tummy.

I really really REALLY must start purchasing some maternity clothes now as my normal trousers and jeans are becoming too uncomfortable. Luckily since the weathers been nice I've lived in maxi dresses for the past 4 weeks and I've got around 12 dresses so doesn't feel like I'm wearing the same one over and over but they do stand out so can't wear them for much longer. People will start to think I don't own any other clothes! I did however manage to grab 3 pairs of maternity jeans in the Verbaudet sale for about £11 each which was a nice bargain, just need to get myself some nice maternity outfits for work now since I'm in an office.

Not much else interesting has happened so far but really looking forward to my next scan where I'll get to see the baby again.

Thanks. How are you feeling at 30 weeks? You are def very lucky, I'm fighting them off like fleas around poop!

Exciting! I've managed to avoid the random strangers touching the belly - I didn't get that last time either, so perhaps I give off a "this bump is not public property" warning look or something! Lovely to hear your update - and looking forward to hearing about the maternity outfits too. Thank you for linking up to #BlogBumpClub. Welcome! x

Maybe I just look too friendly, I should probably start looking grumpy a bit more then maybe people won't touch me haha ;) Or maybe I should get a badge or t-shirt that says "hands off the bump" hehe.

Thanks, it's been nice linking up. Looking forward to it every week or so :D x
