Review: Ella's Kitchen Nibbly Fingers

New from Ella's Kitchen are the unique Nibbly Fingers, a healthy and scrummy snack bar. Logan was lucky enough to be sent a pack of each flavour in the range to test and review. I'm aslways getting Logan to try new things and the healthier the better really. I know this might sound a bit snobby but I'm horrified when I see people in fast food venues feeding their one year olds greasy burgers!

Anyway on to the review! There are 3 flavours in the Nibbly Fingers range: bananas & raisins, strawberries & apples and mangoes & carrots. All flavours are 100% organic, packed full of healthy ingredients, squished fruit or veg with absolutely no concentrates or refined sugars.

In each pack you get 5 finger bars which are an ideal size for little fingers to hold and an excellent healthy treat to keep little ones on the go until dinner time. The range is aimed at toddlers from 12 months (stage 3) and up and are ideal to pop in your hand bag when out and about with your toddler incase they get a little peckish as they're individually wrapped.
Unfortunately I have to say that Logan just wouldn't eat these little snack bars. He point blank refused every flavour which is a real shame. I tried them myself and found them very flavoursome and quite yummy but Logan wasn't having any of them, even if I showed him me eating them. He'd take a quick lick then throw it to the floor.

So in an attempt to give these a fair review I got the other half to take what was left of the 3 packets into Logan's new playgroup for snack time. I have to say it wasn't good news though, only 2 of the 8 children ate these nibbly fingers and those two children where girls.

You can purchase these Nibbly Fingers for RRP £2.29 (pack of 5) from Tesco.

Overall I thought these nibby fingers were quite tasty but Logan and his friends at the playgroup didn't agree. It is a shame but toddlers know what they like and it just wasn't these. Your toddler may think differently though and they're not expensive so won't break the bank to atleast try them.

Mummies rating - 7/10
Logan's rating - 2/10

Too bad Logan didn't care for them! My 13-month-old daughter just adores them. She likes the mango/carrot and apple/strawberry flavours best. She likes for me to hold it, and she'll come over and take a bite off the end. So cute! They're wonderful for travel. Maybe Logan will like them better down the road.
