Review: Whirlee Ride On

The very generous people from Mookie toys have kindly sent Logan one of their brilliant Whirlee ride ons to test and review for them. Here is what we thought.

First impressions of this toy are great. It's very sturdy, bright in colour and has cute little graphics stuck on which are very hard wearing. It's smaller than I thought it would be but when Logan jumped on and had a go I could see it really was the perfect size for a toddler. Parents will be glad to know that this toy is super light weight at only 865 grams, making it simple to carry when out and about if your child becomes tired as they so often do!

Logan got to grips with this Whirlee straight away, he knew exactly what to do and couldn't wait to get it out of the box. The handle to hang onto at the front has an extra grippy part which is comfortable on small hands and the top of the Whirlee has been shaped well to help little ones stay on without falling off.

The beauty of this toy is that the wheels can go 360 degrees so it's very easy to maneuver around any indoor or outdoor space and even the smallest of houses will appreciate this toy as it will allow little ones the experience of having a ride on toy without the hassle of getting stuck. The wheels also have rubber grips on them so perfect for wooden floors, tiles etc as awell as carpets.

Another great feature of this toy is that it is very easy to stack or store away in the car without taking up much space. Logan has just started staying at granny and grandads house so this is the perfect size to throw in the car to make sure he has an interesting toy to play with whilst staying over. It also helps to keep him active and he can take it out in the street and play with the older kids when they play on their bikes.

The Whirlee is available in 2 colours: red and blue and retails at around £19.99 but can be found cheaper in online stores such as Amazon and Cuthberts Toys. This toy is aimed at children 12 months + and because it's so easy to use I completely agree. It's the perfect first ride on to buy and quite affordable.

Overall a brilliant little ride on. Very simple but easy to use and carry, even Logan can carry it around the living room with ease. Well thought out design and perfect for your child's first ride on toy. I've been looking for faults but can't find any to be honest! Logan's been bashing it around and throwing from one end of the house to the other and it's still survived so we give it the thumbs up. Although it retails at £19.99 which is affordable I think it could do with being a little cheaper for what it actually is. Apart from that though it's lovely.

Mummies rating - 8/10
Logan's rating - 8.5/10
