Review: LCN Acai Berry Summer Hand Cream

The lovely people from LCN have kindly sent me a sample of their gorgeous Acai Berry Hand Cream. Here is what I thought.

What LCN say: "This hand cream contains the extract of acai berry, the super berry from the Brazilian rain forest. This power fruit is rich in anti-oxidants, polyphenoles and anthocyanes. Anthocyanes protect plants from strong UV light to prevent the proteins being damaged in the cell and the DNA in the cell core. They also counteract the binding of free radicals which are the result of oxidative stress. The warm flowery fruity fragrance of aromatic sweet berries is accompanied by a light fresh whiff of blossoms."

The smell of this hand cream is fantastic, it's so fresh and fruity I had to stop myself from applying it again and again. The cream is light and  soaks into your skin quickly leaving no residue or stickiness which is fantastic as working on a computer you don't want your keyboard covered in cream and you don't want to have to sit for ages whilst it soaks in! You only need a little drop of this cream at a time and it goes a long way keeping your hands soft and moisturised for a few hours. You'll be pleased to note that this hand cream is also free of mineral oils and parabenes, hurray!

The lovely little 50ml tube of hand cream is perfect for keeping in your handbag and is flat so takes up less space compared to the rounded tubes.

If Acai Berry isn't for you then you can also purchase this hand cream in Guava. What LCN say: "The fruit of the guava is exceptionally rich in vitamins; the content of vitamin C is six times as high as that of orange. The fruit contains pectin, vitamin A and B-vitamins, iron, calcium and phosphor. These active substances contribute to the skin being provided with moisture and its regeneration. Their anti-oxidative characteristics protect the skin from stress and the free radicals ensuing there from. The fragrance of the cream is fresh and fruity sweet and awakens memories of fruit compositions of pear, peach, guava and maracuja."

You can purchase your very own Acai Berry hand cream for RRP £9.15 from www.bcidirect.com.

Overall a brilliant hand cream. It's light, soaks in well and smell good enough to eat! Everyone I've given the hand cream to to try has always asked where to purchase it.

Mummies rating - 8/10
