Review: Aubrey Organics SPF 30+ Unscented Sunscreen

The lovely people from Aubrey Organics have kindly sent us some of their SPF 30+ Unscented Sunscreen to test and review for them. Perfect timing now that the better weather is starting to arrive and Logan has been my willing volunteer to help with the testing. Here is what we thought.

This unscented formula is great for people with sensitive skin and children (under 6 months consult a doctor first). I tried it on Logan and it's great. It dries in quickly, is not sticky and doesn't leave his skin irriated compared to other sunscreens we have tried in the past. And because it dries quickly it is a lot easier to apply to a child, especially one who wriggles and protest because they would rather be playing.

This sunscreen comes in a handy 118ml tube which is easy to carry around in your handbag or baby changing bag. This product also hasn't been tested on animals, is biodegradable and the container can be recycled so a great company who are considerate of the environment.

The active ingredients contained in this sunscreen are Zinc Oxide 11% and Titanium Dioxide 6.3%, both are for sunscreen purposes to protect your skin from harmful sun rays.

To get the best use out of your sunscreen shake well before use and apply generously 30 minutes before sun exposure and as needed after swimming, towel drying and perspiring. I applied this to Logan's skin every 2-3 hours depending on how intense the sun was, if it was really intense I applied it more often if he wasn't in the shade.

You can purchase this sunscreen from Aubrey Organics online shop for RRP £14.29.

Overall this is a fantastic sunscreen, a little pricey for the amount you get but it has been brilliant for Logan's sensitive skin and I will be purchasing it in future when the sample I have runs out. I have quite sensitive skin too and it's done me well so will be recommending to friends and family.

Logan's rating - 9/10
Mummies rating - 8/10
