Review: Organix Goodies

My little boy is a massive fan of the Organix range so when they asked if we would like to test and review some goodies we leaped at the chance. We were sent the Organix Goodies Organic Mini Gingerbread Men, Organix Goodies Organic Fruit and Water and the Organix Goodies Organic Squeezy. Here is what we thought.

Organix Goodies Organic Mini Gingerbread Men
The little gingerbread men had to be Logan's favourite. No sooner had I opened a packet and minutes later they were gone! Where to is anyones guess!? These contain organic wholegrain flour and are sweetened only with organic grape juice. There are no artificial colours or flavours, no hydrogenated fat and no added salt. The recommended age for these snacks are 12 months+ and you get 5 little packets in each box each containing 25g which is quite a lot in each bag. I was surprised at the amount of gingerbread men you got. They are the perfect size for little hands and Logan normally goes for the gingerbread men's heads first! Why he eats them first I'll never know. I like it that you get these in individual bags as you can keep them in the changing bag or in your hand bag as a little snack for your toddler when out and about. These are also suitable for vegetarians. These can be purchased for Organix own online shop or from Tesco stores. The price for this pack is around £1.99

Organix Goodies Organic Fruit and Water
These little drinks are just new instore and are very handy for thirsty toddlers. Logan has never had juice before as I wanted to keep him drinking water for as long as possible so I was curious to see how he would get on with the juice. He took to it really well and to protect his teeth as much as possible we gave him the juice as part of his dinner. Both flavours of Apple, Grape & Peach and Apple & Blackcurrant were a hit. He found it a little difficult to drink from the bottles but I think this is because he is not used to drinking from this type of bottle. He normally drinks from a soft spout. Logan managed to get plenty of juice out though and it kept him busy for ages, I was very pleased. The Apple, Grape & Peach is 50% Fruit 50% Water and the Apple & Blackcurrant is 40% Fruit 60% Water and they are NOT made from Concentrate. They have no added sugars or sweeteners, no added preservatives and no artificial colours or flavours. Recommended for toddlers aged 12 months+ and once opened must be kept in the fridge and used within 48 hours. You get 200ml in each bottle and these can be quite handy to take out and about with you if you are in a rush or pick up at your local supermarket. These drinks are also dairy and gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. You can purchase these drinks from Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Organix online shop for around £0.89.

Organix Goodies Organic Squeezy
These were really messy but Logan loved them. He wouldn't stop squeezing them and thought it was hilarious! I did not mind that much as children need to have some messy play with food, it's good for them. Organix sent us the Blueberry, Blackberry & Pear flavoured squeezies which were definitely enjoyed. These are classed as 1 of your 5 a day which is a great fun way to get fruit into your toddler. They are recommended for 12 months+ and have no added sugar, no artificial colours or flavours and are 100% organic fruit. The pouch is shaped to help fit little hands around it and it was easy for Logan to hold. You get 100g in each pouch and once opened needs to be kept in the fridge and eaten within 48 hours. These are also dairy and gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. You can purchases these pouches and other flavours from Asda, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Ocado and Organix online shop for around £0.89.

Overall these are a great tasty range of snacks and drinks and with such high quality ingredients I have no fear in feeding them to my little boy and I will continue to do so until he does not want them anymore. Good prices, value for money I think and a great brand. I really struggled to find anything wrong with these goodies and still have not managed to!

Logan's rating - 10/10
Mummies rating - 10/10
