Review: Ella's Kitchen Goodies

We have been on the hunt recently to find Logan some new and interesting snacks to eat between meals. We wanted to give him variety so he would not become bored with the snacks he had. The lovely people at Ella's Kitchen kindly sent us some of their tasty snacks for Logan to try. We were sent the Baby Cookies, Stacks of Sticks and Bakey-Bakies. Here is what we thought.

Bakey-Bakies
These come in two different flavours; Cheese 'n' spiniach and Apple, raisin 'n' cinnamon. They are both delicious and we all agree that they are very tasty. Logan can eat a whole bag of each no problem (and I would too). The recommended age is 12 months+ and you get 4 x 12g bags in one big bag which is handy as you can take the little bags out and about with you. They are 100% organic and have no added sugar or salt, no concentrates or juices, no E numbers or GM and no additives and nothing artificial. The snacks themselves are about the size of a two pence coin and are completely flat. The only problem I have with them is that I do not think there is enough snacks in each bag. I think there should be a little more but maybe I'm just being greedy! You can purchase the Bakey-Bakies for around £1.98 from Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.

Baby Cookies
I love these little baby biscuits, they come in small packs of 2 so they are perfect to carry around in your hand bag incase your little one gets peckish. These biscuits are soft and crumbly and are recommended for babies aged 7 months +. They come in two different flavours; Apple 'n' ginger and Milk 'n' vanilla. Logan liked the milk and vanilla best, we think the apple and ginger was a little too strong for him. All ingredients are 100% organic and there is no added sugar or salt, no concentrates or juices, no hydrogenated fat, no GM and no dairy (although dairy will be in the milk and vanilla biscuits!). I like it that the boxes used for the baby cookies are already 90% recycled and can be recycled again. These biscuits are the perfect size for little hands and you get 12 in a box. You can buy these for around £1.96 from Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.
Stacks of Sticks
Logan was not sure about these little sticks and the orange 'n' pear he definitely didn't like. I tried one for myself and they left a funny after taste in your mouth so I could see why he was not such a great fan. The wholegrain sticks were nice though and he happily ate a few of those. I quite liked the taste of them too. You get 35g in each pack but I think there should be a little more. They have no added sugar or salt, no concentrates or juices, no hydrogenated fat, no additives, no E numbers or GM and no dairy and nothing artificial. These sticks are recommended for 12 months + and are great for crunching on. This packaging for these stack of sticks has also been made from 90% recycled card and can be recycled again, brilliant! You can purchase the stacks of sticks for around £0.78 from Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.

Overall these are scrummy organic goodies but we wish there were more stacks of sticks and bakey-bakies in each pack. Fair prices for excellent quality snacks but more needed, they're just so tasty.

Logan's rating - 7/10
Mummies rating - 7/10
