Review: Shloer Soft Drinks

I've had Shloer on some special occasions where I was the designated driver, like Christmas and New Year so when I was asked to review these tasty drinks I gladly agreed.

Shloer sent me their Apple & White Grape and White Grape & Elderflower to try out and since I've only tried the White Grape it was nice to try something different. I put the bottles in the fridge to chill them first before drinking.

Apple & White Grape
This has a lovely smell and a very refreshing and crisp taste thanks to the apples. Easy to drink and goes down a treat with your dinner. I put mine in a wine glass just to be posh and you would never know it wasn't wine unless you told someone. You would obviously want to tell people it wasn't wine if you were pregnant!! If you've got a party to go to and you don't want to drink or are driving or pregnant then this is the drink for you. Light, refreshing and tasty!

Ingredients in the Apple & White Grape - Carbonated water, fruit juice from concentrate (48%) (apple juice 32%, white grape juice 16%), glucose-fructose syrup, malic acid, vitamin C.
White Grape & Elderflower
The elderflower is quite strong in this and very sweet, you can smell it before you've tasted it. I could only see myself drinking a few of these before it would make me feel a little sick but that's just personal choice. If you like sweet drinks or sweet wines then this is a great alternative. These have a lovely fizz to them but not too fizzy, nothing worse than burping all night!

Ingredients in White Grape & Elderflower - Carbonated water, white grape juice from concentrate (26%), glucose-fructose syrup, elderflower infusion, malic acid, vitamin C, citric acid.
All Shloer flavours contain no preservatives, artificial colours, sweeteners or flavourings. All flavours are suitable for vegetarians and are best served chilled. Refrigerate after opening and consume within three days.

They have a variety of flavours to suit every taste which include; Red Grape, White Grape, Rosé and White Grape, Raspberry & Cranberry.

The normal retail price for Shloer Soft Drinks is around £1.99 per bottle, and for the big bottle that you get you can't go wrong. I would highly recommend these for mums to be or new mums who are breastfeeding. Perfect alternative to wine.

Overall these are a lovey soft drink, quite sweet for me but perfect for people who enjoy that.

Mummies rating - 7/10
